Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain embedded software with a strong focus on Linux kernel and device drivers.
Perform board bringup, bootloader configuration, and kernel compilation, ensuring proper system initialization.
Utilize Linux build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenEmbedded to configure, build, and customize Linux distributions.
Work with hosttarget toolchains for crosscompilation and embedded platform development.
Implement and debug communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, MIPI, and PCIe.
Debug system and kernel issues using tools such as JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, ICD, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
Analyze and resolve kernel stability problems including crash analysis, system locks, and abnormal resets.
Read and interpret hardware schematics, datasheets, and technical reference manuals for integration and driver development.
Write detailed documentation including specifications, design documents, test plans, and test reports.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (hardware, software, QA) to ensure seamless system integration.
Provide support and mentoring to junior engineers and contribute to continuous process improvement.
