We are hiring an Embedded Hardware Engineer with 35 years of experience in the design and development of embedded hardware for IoT, energy, and industrial automation products. The candidate will be responsible for complete hardware developmentfrom schematic design and component selection to validation and production supportworking closely with firmware and product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop hardware circuits for embedded systems using microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, or NXP families.

Perform schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout review using tools like Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.

Integrate and validate communication interfaces RS485, Modbus, GSM/LTE, LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.

Design and test power supply circuits, isolation stages, and protection systems for industrial-grade products.

Perform board bring-up, debugging, and hardware validation in coordination with firmware engineers.

Analyze and resolve field hardware issues through structured testing and failure analysis.

Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and reliability in hardware design.

Coordinate with suppliers for prototype builds and BOM finalization.

Maintain hardware documentation including schematics, layout files, and test reports.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.

Experience with microcontroller-based hardware design (8-bit/32-bit).

Hands-on experience in hardware debugging using multimeters, DSOs, and other diagnostic tools.

Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium / KiCad / Eagle).

Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, Modbus, CAN).

Working knowledge of power electronics fundamentals (SMPS, DC-DC converters).

Understanding of hardware testing, validation, and DFM/DFT practices.

Experience in preparing BOMs and coordinating with component vendors.

Preferred / Added Advantage:

  • Experience in IoT or Smart Energy product design (Smart Meters, AMR, Gateways, etc.).
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance, CE/BIS certification processes.
  • Exposure to low-power design, isolation techniques, and ruggedized enclosures.
  • Familiarity with hardware-software co-design and test automation setups.
  • Experience in a start-up or product-based environment.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication Engineering.

Solid understanding of embedded system fundamentals and circuit theory.
