About the Role:
- We are looking for a skilled Embedded Hardware Engineer to join our R&D team. The role involves end-to-end product development from prototype to mass production covering circuit design, PCB development, power management, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and validate hardware circuits with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication peripherals.
- Develop Analog circuits with op-amps, filters, comparators, ADC/DAC interfaces.
- Design and validate power supplies: DC-DC converters, sequencing, protection, and thermal design.
- Perform PCB design with focus on high-speed routing, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity.
- Work with digital interfaces: SPI, I2C, RS-485, UART.
- Contribute to system-level integration including HW-SW co-design and multi-board architectures.
- Collaborate with mechanical teams for mechanical-electrical integration.
- Validate designs using oscilloscopes, signal generators, electronic loads, LCR meters.
- Ensure designs meet DFX principles (DFM, DFA, DFT) and compliance testing (EMI/EMC, safety).
Required Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures and peripheral configuration.
- Proficiency in SPI, I2C, RS-485, UART communication.
- Experience in analog design (op-amps, filters, comparators, ADC/DAC).
- Expertise in DC-DC converter design, sequencing, and protection circuits.
- PCB layout expertise for signal integrity, EMI/EMC, high-speed routing.
- Familiarity with high-speed signals: MIPI-CSI, SDIO 3.0, HDMI, USB 3.0.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design guidelines and compliance.
- Proficiency in OrCAD (or equivalent) for schematic & layout, and PSpice for simulations.
- Hands-on with lab instruments (oscilloscope, LCR meter, signal generator, electronic loads).
- Awareness of embedded programming is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
- 13 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
- Exposure to compliance testing (CE, FCC, BIS, etc.).
- Background in consumer electronics, industrial automation, or IoT devices is an advantage.
