Job Description

Join Drogo Drones Embedded Hardware Engineer

Drogo Drones is building high-performance UAV platforms designed for real-world autonomy. As a fast-paced startup, we focus on tight hardwaresoftware integration, rigorous field testing, and rapid iteration. Our team takes pride in launching drones that fly, perform, and deliver under demanding conditions.

We are seeking a hands-on Embedded Hardware Engineer to design and build the electronics that power our UAVs. This role is hardware-first, with a focus on board-level design, sensor integration, power systems, and complete system-level hardware integration.

Responsibilities include:

- Designing embedded hardware for UAV systems including flight controllers, ESC interfaces, sensor modules, and power electronics.

- Creating schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.

- Interfacing processors and microcontrollers with avionics components such as IMUs, GNSS, magnetometers, range sensors, and telemetry systems.

- Ensuring electrical performance and EMI/EMC compliance in noisy environments.

- Performing board bring-up, validation, and lab testing with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

- Collaborating with firmware and mechanical teams for full system integration and testing.

- Supporting component selection, BOM optimization, DFM, and rugged environment validation.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

- 23 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware design (UAVs, robotics, or aerospace preferred).

- Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures (STM32, NXP, etc.).

- Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, PWM.

- Experience with sensors: IMUs, GPS, magnetometers, barometers, LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors.

- Knowledge of power electronics, DC-DC converters, battery management, and ESCs.

- Proficiency in schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout.

- Expertise in debugging, validation, and EMI/EMC layout practices.

Why join us:

- Competitive salary and PF benefits

- Medical insurance for self and family

- Strong R&D-driven culture with like-minded engineers

- Freedom to explore, innovate, and deliver

- Ownership of impactful work, including patents

- State-of-the-art infrastructure and labs

- A growth-driven environment encouraging leadership

If you are passionate about building advanced UAV hardware and want to be part of a team redefining aerial autonomy, we'd love to hear from you.
