ELK Developer/admin

Role & responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain ELK stack or similar tolls like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Graylag, Splunk

Good knowledge of Kafka and rabbitmq or any Queues/Streaming application

Development Logstash Pipeline, ingestion, transformation and enrich data from various data source.

Knowledge of KPI and custom KPI creation, elastic query creation by using DevTools and other scripting or programing language

Knowledge of index life management (ILM) alerting, watcher writing, ACL and data encryption. Self Monitoring and alert configuration ServiceNow (SNOW) or any alerting tools.

Microservice development and containerization (docker, Kubernetes).

RESTful service development

Unit testing, Test Driven Development

Database technology: noSQL/SQL

Strong problem solving skills

Preferred candidate profile

Search technology query writing.

UNIX experience/Shell scripting

Effective communication skills verbal & written

Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technology(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Working experience with agile development methodology and in scrum ceremonies

Tools: Eclipse IDE/IntelliJ, GIT, Jira

Experience in devOps

Experience of working within the banking/financial industry
