What Do You Get
- Rapid learning across different domains of different product stacks
- Opportunities to do real cutting edge and fundamentals focused engineering with deep tech and robotics. We are constantly talking about the bleeding edge of technology
- Opportunities to expand and grow your career in multiple directions
- Deep focused career growth as core member of a young but ambitious team
- Exposure to every aspect of the electronics supply chain - from vendor scouting to manufacturing and production integration
Key Responsibilities
You will be the architect of the robot's nervous system and powerhouse. Your goal is to design the robust electrical backbone and low-level intelligence that allows our humanoids and industrial robots to perform complex tasks with reliability, safety, and high-performance efficiency.
- Embedded Stack: Develop and debug low-level firmware in C/C++ for real-time motor control and sensor integration.
- PCB Design & Hardware Development: Lead the end-to-end development of multi-layer PCBs, from schematic capture and component selection to layout and manufacturing files.
- Power Electronics: Design and optimize power distribution units, battery management systems (BMS), and high-current actuator interfaces.
- System Integration: Implement and maintain robust communication protocols including CAN, CANopen, and/or EtherCAT.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct hardware bring-up, signal integrity testing, and root-cause analysis for electrical failures using standard lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Troubleshooting: Strong hands-on skills in soldering, hardware debugging, and circuit validation.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with EDA tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and embedded development for microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, ARM Cortex).
- Power Systems: Solid understanding of DC-DC conversion, MOSFET drive circuits, and battery protection.
- Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with mechanical and software teams in a fast-paced environment.
Valued Additions
- Robotics Specifics: Prior experience with BLDC motor control, FOC (Field Oriented Control), or medium to high-voltage battery packs.
- Industrial Standards: Familiarity with safety standards for cobots or intralogistics (e.g., ISO 10218 or ISO 13849).
- Protocol Expertise: Practical experience with CAN, CANOpen, Ethercat or C/C++ hardware interfaces.
- Mechanical Context: Basic understanding of thermal dissipation and enclosure constraints for electronics.
General Requirements And Benefits (All Roles)
Location: Candidates living in
Pune are strongly preferred.
Culture: You'll be part of a high-energy team building the future of Indian Robotics. No
corporate red tape—just pure engineering and building.
Impact: Your work goes directly onto humanoid robots and industrial robots solving real
problems.
