Job Description

Responsibilities

Support installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, battery enclosures, fire suppression systems, and auxiliary mechanical equipment.
Conduct mechanical integrity checks, alignment verification, and system pressure tests.
Validate mechanical interfaces with electrical systems.
Assist in integration of mechanical systems with electrical and control systems.
Perform functional testing of fire detection and suppression systems.
Identify and resolve mechanical faults during commissioning. Collaborate with OEMs and contractors to address technical issues.
Ensure all mechanical work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
Maintain detailed logs of mechanical commissioning activities and test results.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure and check the installation & Commissioning as per Pre-commissioning and Commissioning checklist.
Prepare and record the pre-commissioning and commissioning protocols.
Share the learning/observations to Engineering for future improvement.
