Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to understand wiring and installation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations during all electrical work.
- Diagnose electrical problems and troubleshoot issues to determine the appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Document work completed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-10 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and power tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
