Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment, including lighting, motors, switchboards, and other machinery.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments for timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Recommend improvements to existing electrical systems to enhance efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 2–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, or residential electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, wiring, and safety protocols.
• Ability to use electrical tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid electrical license (if required locally).
