Electrician Journeyman Tier 3

Install, test, and repair electrical grounding systems according to codes, standards, and manufacturer guidelines

Plan and execute new or modified installations to minimize material waste and allow future maintenance

Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment; install concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and floors are completed

Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; pull wiring through conduit and splice wires

Connect wiring to lighting, power equipment, control apparatus, and HVAC units; test circuits for safety and continuity

Observe installed systems to detect hazards, perform adjustments or repairs, and provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS)
