Job Title: Electrician
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The Electrician will ensure all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, control panels, and equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements And Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems efficiently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform manual work and work at heights when required
