Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Technician who can support wiring, soldering, PCB assembly, harness preparation, connector crimping, and general electrical/electronics work for our robotics and automation projects. The role involves building wiring harnesses, assembling control panels, testing circuits, and supporting prototype development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform wiring, cable routing, crimping, and harness assembly for robots and electrical panels
- Conduct soldering (through-hole & SMD preferred) and PCB-level assembly/rework
- Assist in assembling control boxes, sensor wiring, motor driver wiring, and power distribution units
- Read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts
- Work with connectors like XT30/XT60, Molex, JST, Deutsch, Phoenix, etc
- Handle testing, continuity checks, insulation checks, and ensure circuit integrity
- Support prototype builds, repairs, and troubleshooting of electrical faults
- Maintain inventory of wires, lugs, terminals, connectors, and electrical tools
- Follow safety standards while handling power supplies, Li-ion/LFP batteries, and high-voltage systems
Requirements
Skills & Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field
- 0-4 years of hands-on experience in wiring, soldering, or PCB assembly
- Strong knowledge of multimeters, crimping tools, soldering iron/stations, heat guns
- Good understanding of DC systems (12V/24V/48V), motor drivers, sensors & controllers
- Ability to read basic schematics & wiring diagrams
- Experience with power distribution boards, harness building, cable management
Preferred (Good To Have)
- Experience in robotics, drones, EVs, SPMs, or automation setups
- Knowledge of CAN, UART, RS485 wiring
- Experience with LFP/Li-ion battery wiring, BMS connections
- SMD rework skills (hot air gun, flux use, chip replacement)
- Understanding of EMI/EMC-safe wiring practices
