Who Are We
Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with fundamental knowledge in electrical and electronics systems, electrical schematics, and low-voltage automotive systems. The candidate should be capable of supporting design, development, and documentation activities related to wiring harnesses and electrical integration.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop electrical schematics for low-voltage automotive systems.
- Create and modify wiring harness drawings and electrical layouts.
- Work on SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and harness design.
- Support integration of low-voltage systems .
- Assist in component selection (relays, fuses, connectors, sensors, etc.).
- Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Embedded, Production).
- Troubleshoot basic electrical and wiring-related issues.
Who Can Apply
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or related field.
- Basic understanding of:
- Electrical & electronics fundamentals
- Electrical schematics and symbols
- Automotive low-voltage systems
- Wiring harness design concepts
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good To Have
- Knowledge of automotive standards and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SolidWorks Electrical OR AutoCAD Electrical
- Understanding of connectors, harness routing, and protection methods.
- Basic knowledge of CAN communication is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
