Who Are We

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with fundamental knowledge in electrical and electronics systems, electrical schematics, and low-voltage automotive systems. The candidate should be capable of supporting design, development, and documentation activities related to wiring harnesses and electrical integration.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop electrical schematics for low-voltage automotive systems.
  • Create and modify wiring harness drawings and electrical layouts.
  • Work on SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD Electrical for schematic and harness design.
  • Support integration of low-voltage systems .
  • Assist in component selection (relays, fuses, connectors, sensors, etc.).
  • Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Embedded, Production).
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical and wiring-related issues.

Who Can Apply

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or related field.
  • Basic understanding of:
    • Electrical & electronics fundamentals
    • Electrical schematics and symbols
    • Automotive low-voltage systems
    • Wiring harness design concepts
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good To Have

  • Knowledge of automotive standards and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SolidWorks Electrical OR AutoCAD Electrical
  • Understanding of connectors, harness routing, and protection methods.
  • Basic knowledge of CAN communication is an added advantage.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
