Job Description

About Niral Automation: Niral Automation is a trusted partner in intelligent industrial automation solutions. We provide turnkey solutions for Special Purpose Machines (SPM), vision-based inspection systems, and Industry 4.0 integration. We work with advanced technologies including Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs, LabVIEW, and IoT systems. We are looking for a skilled wiring professional to join our team and ensure the high-quality assembly of our control panels.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Wiring Person/Panel Technician responsible for the complete assembly and wiring of PLC Control Panels and SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Panels. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to read electrical schematics to build panels that drive complex automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Panel Assembly: Mount and install electrical components such as PLCs, VFDs, Relays, MCBs, SMPS, and Transformers onto backplates/DIN rails according to the layout design.
  • Wiring & Termination: Perform power and control wiring for PLC and SPM panels. Accurately terminate cables using lugs, ferrules, and proper crimping tools.
  • Schematic Reading: Read and interpret electrical CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to ensure accurate connections.
  • Cable Management: Route cables neatly using wiring ducts (wire managers), cable ties, and spiral wraps to ensure a clean, professional finish inside the panel.
  • Field Wiring: Assist in the interconnection wiring between the control panel and the machine (sensors, motors, solenoid valves, limit switches, etc.) at the shop floor or customer site.
  • Testing: Perform point-to-point continuity checks, I/O checks, and power-up tests to identify and resolve wiring faults before commissioning.
  • Labeling: Ensure proper identification of all wires, cables, and components using ferrule printing and stickers for easy future maintenance.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EEE) or B.Tech/B.E.
  • Experience: 1 years of hands-on experience in Industrial Panel Wiring (specifically for SPMs or Automation).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with PLC wiring (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Experience wiring VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and Servo Drives.
  • Knowledge of sensor wiring (PNP/NPN, Proximity, Photoelectric).
  • Proficiency with hand tools (Crimping tool, Wire stripper, Multimeter, Drilling machine).
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and commitment to safety standards.

What We Offer:

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge SPM and Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Exposure to multi-brand PLC and Vision System hardware.
  • Competitive salary based on skills and experience.
