Who we're looking for
Years of Experience:Minimum 14 years of experience and up to 18 years
Educational qualification:Bachelor / Master's in Electrical Engineering - post graduate degree preferred
Over 8 years of experience in capital equipment or related industries such as Semiconductor, Medical Devices, Automotive, or Aerospace, including 46 years of proven leadership managing direct reportsElectrical Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Subject Matter Expertsacross multiple programs and projects
Demonstrated ability to lead decisively and solve complex problems even in the absence of complete or accurate data. Experienced in operating within a matrix organization and collaborating across cross-disciplinary teams
Strong hands-on expertise in the design, control, and productization of complex equipment and machinery. Well-versed in Electrical Engineering principles, Electromechanical systems, and knowledgeable in RF systems
Proven leadership in departmental planning, capability development, strategic execution, and innovation. Successfully managed teams of 1015 Electrical Engineers, driving departmental goals, product roadmaps, performance management and development (PMD), situational leadership, and team motivation to achieve business outcomes
Skilled in leading and conducting design reviews, securing stakeholder approvals, and guiding implementation. Actively participates in reviewing and approving designs executed by team members and peers
Preferred Qualifications
Contributed to resolving customer escalations and field issues through effective troubleshooting, containment actions, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective measures supported by detailed failure analysis reports
Experienced in working within a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electromechanical, software, supply chain, and manufacturing engineering to drive major project outcomes
Proficient in component selection, experimental setup, and testing in laboratory environments, with a strong emphasis on establishing and maintaining safe engineering practices
Well-versed in global standards and compliance requirements such as SEMI, SEMI S2/S22, NFPA 79, NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE
Solid understanding of systems engineering principles with applied knowledge in Electrical & Electronics and RF systems
Familiar with semiconductor and wafer fabrication equipment industry processes, technologies, and operational requirements
Skilled in engineering change management, project execution, and proficient in electrical CAD tools including PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, or equivalent platforms used in electrical design
