We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis:
Major Responsibilities (The fundamental and crucial job duties performed in theposition, not including managerial marginal functions)
- Perform operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of front-end and back-end semiconductor equipment to ensure high equipment availability and uptime.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, electromechanical, and control system issues in production machinery.
- Execute technical maintenance activities for various manufacturing tools on the production floor, including power systems, sensors, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, and safety interlocks.
- Plan, design, and support the execution of mechanical jigs, fixtures, and accessories required for production and maintenance activities.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and qualification activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, EHS guidelines, and cleanroom protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, checklists, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with production, process, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability, yield enhancement, and cost reduction.
Requirements:
- Relevant Experience - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in electrical maintenance within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
- Education - BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering,
- Technical Skills/Knowledge Mechanical skills and knowledge in pneumatic/moving systems
