Summary Section
As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.
Responsibilities
- Read, understand and implement client specifications / local / international standards
- Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical items with minimum supervision.
- Provide inputs to designers for preparing electrical layouts and check the work performed by designers
- Prepare load list, load calculations, cable sizing, earthing and lighting calculations including preparation of cable schedules and interconnection diagrams
- Understand and implement relevant HSE aspects while performing assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand overall power distribution scheme and SLDs
- Good knowledge of electrical equipment like MV/LV Switchgears, transformers, UPS etc.
- Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree (Full Time) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working in multi-cultural environment
- Working experience in ETAP / SPEL
