We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Substation Design and GIS to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of experience in electrical system design, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for substations and GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) applications.
  • Conducting detailed electrical studies, including load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination studies.
  • Preparing technical specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions for electrical equipment.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with design standards and project timelines.
  • Reviewing and approving engineering drawings and documentation to ensure adherence to project requirements.
  • Participating in site inspections and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Providing technical support during construction and operation phases.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or DIgSILENT.
  • Strong understanding of substation design principles and GIS technology.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations in India.
  • Experience in preparing design calculations and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
