Role SummaryElectrical Design Engineer with strong experience in LV/MV hardware design for industrial and OEM projects. Hands-on exposure to EPLAN-based electrical schematics, MATLAB and PLC simulations, cable sizing, and control panel design, supporting end-to-end product and project engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop LV/MV electrical hardware for industrial and OEM applications
- Prepare electrical schematics, GA drawings, SLDs, and BOMs using EPLAN
- Perform cable sizing and electrical calculations as per IEC/IEEE standards
- Design control panels including component selection and layout
- Support MATLAB-based simulations and PLC simulation/logic validation
- Coordinate with manufacturing, testing, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with customer, safety, and quality standards
- Provide technical documentation and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle
Key Skills & Tools- Design Tools: EPLAN
- Simulation: MATLAB, PLC simulation tools
- Engineering: Cable sizing, control panel design, LV/MV hardware engineering
- Standards: IEC, IEEE (knowledge preferred)
- Domain: Industrial equipment, OEM engineering, project-based execution
Preferred Background- Experience in engineering services organizations (Quest Globaltype environment)
- Exposure to OEM / industrial electrical systems
- Ability to work in customer-facing and multi-project environments
