Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Design Engineer located in New Delhi. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing electrical systems of renewable energy. Tasks include creating detailed schematics, supporting the development of power distribution systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal design solutions.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Responsible for preparing AC/DC Single Line Diagram (SLD) and equipment layout as per DISCOM & CEA guideline.

2. To prepare Optimized PV layouts.

3. To design electrical equipment's.

4. To review OEM documents to ensure compliance are followed as per the codes and standards.

5. To execute AC & DC cable sizing, earthing calculation, preparation of PV system reports, string configurations.

6. To prepare tender technical specifications and BOM

7. To prepare costing of electrical system

Experience -

At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in design of solar ground mounted projects

Experience in designing of Renewable Energy Systems such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, Hybrid Solar System and Wind Energy Systems will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering concepts and principles
• Understanding of Electricity and its applications in practical scenarios
• Expertise in the design and maintenance of Power Distribution systems
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
• Project management experience and knowledge of relevant safety standards are a plus
