Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings and performing electrical system studies for oil and gas (O&G) production facilities and midstream operations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP software, and experience with Arc Flash analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, and layouts for O&G production facilities and midstream operations using AutoCAD.
• Update drawing markups using Bluebeam and revise accordingly in AutoCAD.
• Perform electrical system modeling and analysis using ETAP, including Arc Flash, load flow, and short-circuit studies.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings and electrical designs comply with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Review and revise engineering documents based on feedback from engineers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and electrical study reports.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and project reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical design for O&G or industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP software.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industry standards.
• Experience with Arc Flash studies and electrical safety compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
