Electrical Design Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (MEP)

Location: New Delhi

Industry: MEP Consultant

Experience:5-12 years of experience in consultant design, managing complex building services MEP Design - like high-rise buildings, commercial & residential, and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Applies professional knowledge, experienced judgement, and independently designs complex projects.

Adequate knowledge in Electrical designs - Electrical Distribution Panels, Lighting, Cable management system, Outdoor lighting, Indoor lighting; Lux Level Calculations; load estimation; Voltage drop and short circuits calculations; ELV systems Fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, SCS; Hands-on experience in using software tools like Dialux, Level Calculation

In-depth knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes and practices

Well conversant with estimation for RFP's.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical and management requirements.

Effective communication & coordination in multi-disciplinary projects.

Mentor - Guiding, training, knowledge, and skill development of Mechanical engineering staff.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a recognised university with a minimum of 5-12 years of experience in consultant design, managing complex building services MEP Design - like high-rise buildings, commercial & residential, and Infrastructure.

Master's degree holders are given preference.

Effective management of team members for the projects.

Excellent communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors are mandatory.

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage.
