A bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics engineering is a must. Having between 5 to 12 years of
experience in 132kV and above substation. And familiar with following work.
Protection Engineer for Substation who has experiences for the following works;
1. Review and Modification for schematic diagrams which shall be provided in Substation.
1) GIS/AIS Local Control Cabinet (LCC)
2) Control & Protection Panel
3) Tariff Metering Panel
4) Telecommunication System
5) Fault Recorder
6) LV AC/DC System including Battery, Charger & UPS
7) Others which are required to interface with CRP, SCS and Telecom
8) SCS Architecture
9) Telecom Network Architecture
10) Signal Lists
11) IO Mapping List and Data Display for LDC (NCC)
12) Cable schedule
13) Site Test Procedure and Site Test Form
2. Preparation for design and calculation for the below.
1) Key Single Line Diagram
2) Protection Single Line Diagram
3) Logic Diagram (e.g. Inter-lock, Inter-trip, etc)
4) CT/VT Sizing Calculation
5) (Fixed/Variable) Relay Setting Calculation
3. Coordination work with other disciplines related with protection and SCS
Added Advantage:
1. Experience with DEWA, FEWA, Transco, Saudi Electricity company (SEC), KAHRAMAA.
OETC
2. Experience with site test and defective list clearing at site
3. Experience with relay logic modification
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & electronics Engineering from an accredited university or college
