Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Electrical Design Engineer to handle the design and development of electrical systems for commercial buildings, multi-family residential projects, and high-rise developments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in electrical design, coordination, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and layouts
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies
- Develop detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards
- Coordinate with architects, structural and mechanical engineers, and project teams
- Support construction activities through technical clarifications and site coordination
- Participate in design reviews and ensure timely project deliverables
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 7 years of experience in electrical design for commercial or residential buildings
- Strong experience in power distribution, lighting design, and low-voltage systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience working on commercial buildings, multi-family housing, or high-rise projects
- Ability to join immediately
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, etc.)
- Knowledge of intelligent / smart building systems
- Exposure to international projects is an added advantage
