Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer with around 2 years of experience in designing electrical systems for water, wastewater, and effluent treatment plants. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, preparation of electrical drawings, and familiarity with relevant standards and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical design drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), panel drawings, and cable routing layouts using AutoCAD.
Design and selection of electrical equipment such as motors, control panels, transformers, MCCs, PCCs, and LT panels.
Prepare load calculations, cable schedules, and BOQ for electrical components.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, and civil teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems in WTP/ETP/STP projects.
Support in the preparation of technical specifications, datasheets, and tender documents.
Assist in vendor evaluation, equipment inspection, and site execution support when required.
Ensure all designs comply with electrical safety standards and local regulations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings.
Strong understanding of electrical systems used in water/wastewater treatment plants.
Knowledge of HT/LT systems, earthing, lighting, and power distribution.
Familiarity with IEC/IS standards and electrical codes.
Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in WTP/ETP/STP design projects.
Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems (added advantage).
Immediate joiners preferred.
