Electrical Design Engineer

Prepare and review single line diagrams (SLD), load lists, schematics, cable schedules, DB schedules, and power, lighting, and grounding layouts.

Perform equipment sizing and selection for transformers, switchgear, MCC, VFDs, MV and LV cables, and UPS systems.

Design and review cable routing, lighting, and grounding using CAD/3D modeling tools based on site inputs.

Prepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.

Perform material take-off (MTO) preparation and review with detailed part numbers.

Prepare engineering work packages for project execution.

Coordinate with vendors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams for design reviews and technical clarifications.

Perform and review system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and relay coordination using SKM tools.

Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, CSA, and other applicable codes for USA and Canada projects.

Support construction, commissioning, and field engineering activities for North America projects.

Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth execution.

Ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in all electrical designs.
