Job Summary
The Apprentice Site Engineer will support the team in
Investment Risk Monitoring and site execution assignments, particularly related to interior and fit-out projects.
This role will provide hands-on exposure to site inspections, project monitoring, billing review, and quality compliance within real estate projects. The candidate will work closely with senior team members and gain practical experience in construction monitoring and technical reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting physical site visits to gather primary information and monitor project progress
- Support review of project timelines, budgets, and cost tracking
- Assist in overseeing civil aspects of fit-out works such as flooring, partitioning, ceilings, and structural modifications
- Help verify whether site execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications
- Support comparison of material quantities with BOQs and identify deviations
- Assist in reviewing contractor invoices and supporting documents
- Gain exposure to environmental, safety, quality, and IGBC compliance standards
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely completion of assignments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Architecture or Diploma in Civil or related field
- Freshers eligible
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of civil engineering and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (basic level)
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Willingness to travel to project sites
