Role Overview

Join the Asia Pacific R&D EH&S team to ensure effective implementation of safety, health, and environmental policies in India and other APAC countries. Collaborate with site leaders to minimize operation risks, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site teams to establish / implement EHS&S policies and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Interpret and communicate laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Administer and improve EHS programs, including training and risk assessments.
  • Maintain records for Occupational Safety & Health programs.
  • Develop department-specific safety policies and programs.
  • Collaborate to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions.
  • Advise management on risk management and controls.
  • Champion EHS initiatives through clear communication and engagement.
  • Streamline processes to build a world-class safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in agricultural, industrial field.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% mainly in India and across Asia Pacific.
  • Advanced computer proficiency and attention to detail.
  • 35 years EHS management experience.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Hindi, Telugu, and English.
  • Diploma in Industrial safety from the Central Labour Institute (CLI) or Certificate in Safety Engineering from the Regional Labour Institute (RLI)
  • Workplace Safety certification (First Aid, CPR, AED).
  • Training in industrial hygiene and regulatory compliance.
  • Awareness of environmental regulations.
