Job Description

MALABAR GOLD & DIAMONDS is seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager to oversee all HSE operations within our manufacturing units. You will be responsible for ensuring strict compliance with safety guidelines, fostering a secure environment for our employees, and safeguarding company property. If you have a strong background in industrial safety, regulatory compliance, and a proactive approach to risk management, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all HSE operations of the manufacturing unit and monitor compliance to safety guidelines and policies across all manufacturing units to foster a physically safe environment for factory employees.
  • Ensure manufacturing operations are legally compliant with all relevant EHS regulations.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures necessary for safeguarding lives and property in manufacturing units.
  • Conduct audits at all locations to observe deviations across the factories and ensure fire and safety measures across the plants incorporate the latest technology.
  • Highlight situations to the Factory Head where employee safety could potentially be compromised, in order to resolve issues and maintain safe operations.
  • Manage the overall planning and installation of required safety equipment as per established protocols to uphold safety standards.
  • Ensure the installation of safety alarms within and around building premises.
