Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the organization's EHS policies and procedures in compliance with legal and company standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Organize safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees
- Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and training activities
- Coordinate waste management, hazardous material handling, and pollution control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
- Prepare and submit EHS reports to management and regulatory bodies
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
Key Skills & Competencies
- SOP framing and handling, ESG, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 documents (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct training and awareness programs
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Industrial Safety, or Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred
