Mission Rabies is a global campaign against dog bite transmitted rabies, with the aim of vaccinating as many animals as possible to protect both animals and the humans who depend on them. The campaign is a project of Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) and is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (1100485) and a 501(c)(3) organization in the US.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Education Officer at Mission Rabies located in Mumbai. The Education Officer will be responsible for educating school children and the community on Rabies control, Dog population control and Animal welfare as well as coordinating with government departments. The role will require on-site work in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi
• Experience in animal welfare or public health is a plus
• Graduate or Higher Secondary with experience will be considered.
