Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Education Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable academic programs and career paths. The role involves counselling, admissions support, and maintaining relationships with students and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on academic programs, career options, and study pathways (domestic or international).
- Assess student profiles, interests, and academic background to provide suitable guidance.
- Assist students with the admission process including application forms, documentation, and deadlines.
- Provide information on universities, colleges, courses, scholarships, and visa procedures (if applicable).
- Maintain regular follow-up with students through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Achieve enrollment and admission targets set by the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and partners.
- Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
- Keep up-to-date with education trends, admission requirements, and industry changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Education, Psychology, or Business preferred).
- Proven experience in counselling, sales, or student advisory roles (0–3 years for entry-level).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand student needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Basic knowledge of admission processes and education systems.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.
