Description

The Education Counselor will play a crucial role in guiding students towards making informed educational choices. This position is ideal for freshers or entry-level candidates who are passionate about education and helping others achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to understand their educational goals and aspirations.
Provide information on various educational programs, courses, and institutions to help students make informed decisions.
Assist students in preparing applications for colleges and universities, including guidance on personal statements and documentation requirements.
Stay updated with the latest trends and changes in the education sector, including scholarship opportunities and entrance exams.
Organize workshops and seminars to educate students on career options and the importance of education planning.
Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and other stakeholders in the education sector.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents.
A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to empathize with students and provide tailored counseling based on individual needs.
Knowledge of the Indian education system, including various boards, colleges, and universities.
Familiarity with career counseling techniques and tools to aid in student decision-making processes.
Proficiency in using digital tools and software for counseling and administration purposes.
