Job Title: Product Owner EdTech Platform (Part-Time, Equity Only)

BizVidya is an early-stage EdTech startup redefining education through AI-driven personalization, project-based learning, and real-world capability building. We are building tools like:

• ProjectOS a real-world MSME problem-solving platform for students
• Conversational DNA Mapper (CDM) an AI-powered career and behavior mapping engine

Role Summary

We're seeking a Product Owner who thrives in a fast-paced, zero-fluff startup environment. You'll lead the development of our MVPs, shape user experiences, and work directly with the founding team to bring transformative education solutions to life.

This is a purely equity-based role during the pre-revenue phase ideal for entrepreneurial professionals who want to co-create a high-impact product and own part of its future.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the product roadmap for MVPs: ProjectOS, CDM, and BizBrand Studio
• Collaborate with tech, design, and content teams to turn specs into live features
• Translate feedback from MSMEs, students, and institutions into iterative product improvements
• Own user stories, sprints, backlog, testing, and MVP validation
• Set and track product KPIs (usage, engagement, retention, feedback loops)
• Bring deep market and competitor insights into every product decision
• Align product vision with business, tech, and go-to-market strategy
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in product ownership or product management, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or AI
• Experience building and launching early-stage MVPs (especially 01)
• Comfortable working in a lean startup with iterative experimentation
• Strong user empathy and ability to translate vision into executable specs
• Familiar with tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, Figma, and analytics dashboards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and remote collaboration skills

• Prior experience in AI/ML-based EdTech or personalized learning platforms
• Exposure to working with colleges/universities or MSMEs
• Passion for education, learning psychology, or workforce transformation
• Comfortable with equity-only roles in early-stage startups
