Job Description

About The Opportunity

We operate in the EdTech and higher-education admissions consulting sector, focused on student enrolment and college discovery services for domestic and international programs. This is a fully remote, India-based role for a high-velocity Business Development function supporting large-scale lead funnels and conversion programmes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound prospecting to convert inbound and marketing-qualified leads into enrolled students through consultative counselling and follow-up.
  • Manage and nurture a high-volume lead pipeline in the CRMqualify leads, log interactions, and progress opportunities to closure.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly conversion KPIs through structured outreach (calls, emails, WhatsApp) and scheduled counselling sessions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead campaigns, provide feedback on lead quality, and implement targeted scripts and messaging.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on activity, conversion metrics, and forecasted enrolments; suggest process improvements to boost conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with operations and admissions teams to ensure smooth handoffs and high-quality candidate experiences.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Current or former employee of CollegeDekho (candidates without prior CollegeDekho experience will not be considered).
  • Proven track record in outbound sales or business development within EdTech/college admissions with measurable conversion outcomes.
  • Experience using a CRM for daily pipeline management and lead hygiene.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in telephone-based conversion (cold calling and warm follow-ups).
  • Comfortable working 100% remote across India and meeting strict activity and conversion KPIs.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with international admissions counselling or niche verticals (study abroad, test prep).
  • Prior experience with HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Salesforce in an EdTech environment.
  • Multilingual ability to engage candidates in regional languages.
