Editorial Researcher

We are looking to hire an Editorial Research Associate to support a serious long-term writing and research project on constitutional governance, federalism, political philosophy, economics, public policy, and civilizational thought.

This is not a routine content role. It is for someone who enjoys deep reading, structured thinking, rigorous research, and clear writing.

The immediate mandate includes supporting the complete reworking of an earlier published book on constitutional governance, along with related essays, speeches, concept notes, and long-form intellectual projects.

What the role involves:

- Research across law, history, economics, political theory, and governance

- Preparing structured notes, source maps, reading lists, and thematic briefs

- Assisting with chapter development, rewrites, and editorial refinement

- Converting rough ideas and spoken inputs into coherent written material

- Fact-checking, comparing arguments, and strengthening conceptual clarity

Who may fit:

Someone with strong reading and writing ability, intellectual seriousness, and comfort working across disciplines such as law, liberal arts, history, philosophy, economics, public policy, or editorial research. An interest in constitutionalism, civilizational thought, and classical-liberal or conservative intellectual traditions would be an advantage.

Location: Mumbai or Kolkata in-office preferred / hybrid possible
