Job Description: EDI Sterling Integrator.
Overview:
The EDI Sterling Integrator is responsible for supporting and managing customer B2B integrations, performing EDI/data mapping, analyzing customer requirements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring smooth end-to-end integration workflows. This role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. B2B / Integration Operations
- Manage high-volume Business-to-Business (B2B) integrations with quick SLA turnaround.
- Work closely with customers, software vendors, sales teams, and technical teams to support integrations.
- Perform gap analysis and translate business requirements into technical design documents.
- Handle various data formats including EDI ANSI X12, XML, cXML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files, Tab/Comma Delimited files.
2. EDI & Data Mapping
- Support EDI document processing, translation, and mapping.
- Experience or understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12.
- Work with EDI translation tools, data warehousing concepts, IBM Sterling Integrator, and FTP tools (CoreFTP, FileZilla).
3. Communication Protocols
- Configure and troubleshoot communication methods: AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN.
- Work with customers and partners to validate connectivity and file transfers.
4. Integration Support & Issue Resolution
- Handle support tickets for existing integrations, triage issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Perform activities such as retriggering files, resending invoices, and managing add-ons to existing integrations.
- Respond to general questions, inquiries, and integration-related requests from customers and prospects.
5. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Facilitate and coordinate calls between internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Provide clear communication, status updates, and documentation throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Prepare and present integration plans, flow diagrams, and business/technical documentation.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Create and maintain integration design documents, gap analysis reports, and support documentation.
- Utilize Advanced Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.
