Role Description
We are seeking adynamic and experienced Economics Tutorfor afull-time remote role. The tutor will actively engage students through structured online sessions, deliver concept-driven lessons for international curricula, and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes by developing analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Deliverlive online Economics classesfor international curricula (IB / SAT / other global boards)
- Explain economic conceptsclearly and effectivelyusing real-life examples and case studies
- Build strongconceptual understanding and analytical skillsin students
- Design and executecustomized lesson plansbased on individual learning needs
- Create and sharehigh-quality teaching materials and resources
- Assign, review, and evaluatehomework, tests, and practice exercises
- Facilitate engagingclassroom discussionsto encourage participation
- Provideadditional academic supportto slow learners when required
- Maintain strong professional relationships withstudents and parents
- Track, document, and reportstudent progress and performance regularly
Skills Required
- Proven experience teachingEconomics for IB, AP or other international curricula
- Strong understanding ofEconomics syllabus across multiple levels
- Ability to simplify complex concepts intoeasy-to-understand explanations
- Excellent communication and student-engagement skills
- Strong written communication with high attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Minimum2+ years of teaching experience(formal or informal)
- Comfortable teaching studentsonline
- Proactive, adaptable, and student-centric approach to teaching
Timings
- 8 hours a daybetween6 AM 9 AM and 3 PM11 PM
- Week off can be given onTue/Wed/Thurs
