Functional Responsibility / Domain Related
- Assist S&P Economists with the preparation of regular and thematic research reports.
- Develop and maintain macroeconomic databases utilizing primary, secondary, and third-party data sources.
- Track macroeconomic trends within the region and prepare economic overviews and outlooks based on data releases.
- Stay informed about the macroeconomic environment and monitor key economic events and trends.
- Review research papers and build analytical models for data analysis.
- Carry out tasks under the guidance of the reporting manager and in collaboration with S&P Economists.
- Provide timely support during peak reporting periods to help S&P Economists publish flagship reports within tight deadlines.
- Maintain regular communication with S&P Economists to update them on project progress, sharing ideas on emerging theme, and actively contribute to internal discussion forums.
- Utilize Python and R to develop and run economic models, as well as streamline analytical processes.
- Apply advanced machine learning techniques and large language models (LLMs) to large datasets to improve predictive modeling, automate econometric analysis, and extract actionable insights from complex economic trends.

- Update task level operating manuals to document new knowledge gained and new processes
- Adopt and adhere to the defined processes in day-to-day execution of assignments as well as organization wide requirements
- Strictly practice and follow all Compliance and Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Organization
