Job Title

Ecommerce Manager – Amazon & Flipkart (D2C Segments)

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Strategy & Growth

  • Own and manage the P&L for Amazon and Flipkart and other D2C channels in India.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies tailored for each platform, focusing on revenue, visibility, and profitability.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Act as the main liaison with Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub, including their respective platform teams.
  • Negotiate promotional placements, platform campaigns (e.g., Big Billion Days, Prime Day), advertising packages, and feature opportunities.

Listings & Catalog Optimization

  • Ensure product listings are optimized for SEO and conversions with high-quality content, images, A+ content, and compelling product descriptions.
  • Run periodic A/B tests and coordinate with creative teams for continuous enhancements.

Performance Marketing & Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and monitor paid campaigns such as Sponsored Ads (Amazon), Flipkart Ads/PLAs, and manage related budgets.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on KPIs like ROAS, CTR, COST, and conversion rates.

Inventory, Order & Operations Management

  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure inventory availability and timely fulfilment.
  • Proactively prevent stock-outs, oversee order replenishment, and manage returns/refunds.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track and analyse KPIs such as sales trends, traffic, conversion, AOV, Buy Box win rate, and seller performance.
  • Prepare regular performance reports with strategic insights for leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams—marketing, supply chain, finance, content, and tech—to drive end-to-end business strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–6 years in e-commerce account management, specifically handling Amazon and Flipkart for D2C, FMCG, or consumer goods brands.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and advertising tools. Familiarity with analytics tools like Excel, Power BI, or Google Analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability to interpret data, forecast trends, optimize performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent stakeholder management skills, ability to negotiate and influence outcomes with internal and external teams.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Exposure to quick-commerce or niche marketplaces.
  • Experience with AI tools for inventory forecasting, dynamic pricing, or campaign automation.
  • Prior experience in sustainable products, eco-friendly branding, or consumer-focused segments.
