Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Own end-to-end commercial performance and P&L across marketplaces and D2C channels
- Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining strong contribution margins
- Manage pricing strategy, discounting, advertising spends, platform commissions, and inventory impact
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue plans aligned with inventory availability
2. Marketplace Expansion & Growth
- Scale brand presence across major marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Eternz, and emerging platforms
- Lead end-to-end launch of new marketplaces including onboarding, assortment planning, and go-live execution
- Build strong platform relationships to unlock visibility programs, brand placements, and participation in key sale events
3. Advertising & Sales Acceleration
- Own and optimize marketplace advertising strategies (Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Myntra Ads, etc.)
- Drive performance-led growth through ROAS optimization and data-driven ad spend allocation
- Improve product discoverability through keyword optimization, listings enhancement, and conversion improvements
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, deal events, and seasonal sales
4. D2C Commercial Growth
- Scale the D2C channel into a profitable growth engine
- Own key commercial metrics including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and repeat purchase rate
- Partner with marketing teams to ensure campaigns translate into measurable revenue outcomes
- Develop bundles, promotional strategies, and initiatives to migrate marketplace customers to D2C
5. Data, Forecasting & Business Reviews
- Build and manage sales dashboards and performance tracking systems
- Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when required
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
- Identify growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies using data insights
6. Team & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Build and manage an execution team and external agency partners
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, finance, product, and leadership teams
- Drive operational excellence, accountability, and speed across all sales channels
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in E-commerce Sales or Marketplace Growth
- Hands-on experience managing major marketplace platforms and online sales channels
- Strong understanding of product listing optimization, keyword strategy, and catalog management
- Experience managing paid marketplace campaigns and performance metrics
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on revenue growth and data-driven decision making
- Experience in jewellery, fashion, or lifestyle brands preferred
- Graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field
