Job Description E-Commerce Executive

Role Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations Executive who will take complete ownership of day-to-day, process-driven tasks across online marketplaces. This role is critical to ensure smooth operations, zero leakage, and disciplined execution across all platforms like Amazon Flipkart and Swiggy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Operations (Daily)

Daily order tracking, processing, and reconciliation across marketplaces

Monitor order flow, cancellations, RTOs, and returns

Ensure 100% order SLA compliance

Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for dispatch issues

2. Listing & Catalogue Management

Upload and maintain product listings (title, images, bullets, descriptions)

Update pricing, offers, inventory, variations, and attributes

Fix listing errors, suppressed listings, or inactive SKUs

Ensure catalog hygiene and platform compliance

3. Inventory & Stock Monitoring

Daily inventory tracking and stock reconciliation

Flag low stock, over-stock, or non-moving inventory

Coordinate with supply/warehouse team for stock corrections

Prevent stock-out and overselling scenarios

4. Returns, RMA & Customer Issues

Monitor returns, refunds, replacements, and RMA tickets

Track reason codes and highlight recurring issues

Coordinate with service / warehouse team for closure

Ensure timely resolution of customer escalations

5. Payment & Settlement Reconciliation

Track marketplace settlements, deductions, fees, and penalties

Reconcile orders vs payments vs returns

Flag discrepancies and follow up with marketplaces

Maintain clean settlement trackers

6. Reports & MIS (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)

Prepare and maintain:

Sales MIS

Inventory MIS

Returns & RTO reports

Pricing & margin trackers

Share clear, structured, and timely reports with seniors

Highlight deviations, not just numbers

7. Process Discipline & Execution

Follow SOPs strictly and suggest improvements where required

Ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Handle repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy

Maintain documentation and trackers properly

Skill Set Required

Hands-on experience with Amazon / Flipkart / other marketplaces

Strong command on Excel / Google Sheets

High attention to detail and process orientation

Ability to handle repetitive tasks without fatigue

Good coordination and follow-up skills

Basic understanding of pricing, margins, and settlements

Preferred Candidate Profile

14 years experience in e-commerce operations

Comfortable with routine, structured, and execution-heavy work

Reliable, disciplined, and accountable
