Job Description

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT, Montessori, ECE, CIDTT trained) compulsory or bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of early years teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current best practices in pedagogy and innovation.
  • Experience with children aged 2–6 years.
  • Recent training or experience in the current curriculum.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for all learners.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery

  • Implement planned lesson plans supporting holistic child development.
  • Perform formative and summative assessments and contribute to assessment strategies.
  • Identify developmental delays and adopt inclusive practices for all learners.
  • Innovate teaching methodologies to improve lesson delivery and learning outcomes.
  • Maintain well-organized, visually appealing classrooms aligned with monthly themes.
  • Foster a lifelong love for learning in early years.

Team Work & Mentoring

  • Mentor new facilitators and care-giving staff.
  • Support teams in achieving centre goals through initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Guide colleagues in decision-making and problem-solving when needed.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure a positive and safe physical and emotional classroom environment.
  • Follow policies and guidelines to maintain child development, safety, and wellness.

Parent Connect

  • Partner with parents to enhance the child's potential and discuss progress.
  • Share child learning samples regularly and address escalations with Centre Director.

Professional & Personal Development

  • Participate in skill enhancement, workshops, and training.
  • Stay updated with curriculum changes, NEP requirements, and school admission standards.

Classroom Code of Conduct

  • Serve as a role model for punctuality, responsibility, and professional decorum.
  • Manage time, resources, and stress effectively.
  • Lead by example, helping and supporting colleagues where needed.

Additional Skills

  • Basic computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use learning data to improve teaching practices.
  • Ability to engage students using technology and online platforms.
