ABOUT THE ROLE
Ruvimo is looking for warm, patient and skilled Early Childhood Tutors to teach US students in PreK, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 - Grade 5 through 1:1 online sessions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young learners and understands how to build foundational skills in phonics, reading, writing, number sense and early math reasoning.
Experience with IEPs, neurodivergent learners, ADHD, ASD, slow processing, or Orton-Gillingham-style instruction is a significant plus.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Teach Math + English to students aged 47 in 1:1 online classes
- Build early literacy foundations: phonics, blending, segmenting, sight words, decoding
- Build early numeracy foundations: counting, addition/subtraction basics, place value, patterns
- Adapt lessons for attention spans, learning needs and energy levels
- Support students with IEP-related goals (if applicable)
- Communicate with parents professionally and provide short progress updates
- Teach during US school-evening hours (late evening to early morning IST)
- Use interactive whiteboards, pen tablets and child-friendly teaching methods
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORMust-Haves
- Strong English communication (neutral or clear accent)
- Experience teaching PreKGrade 2 (online or offline)
- Natural warmth, patience and classroom control
- Ability to explain concepts through examples, visuals and play-based cues
- Stable internet + laptop/desktop + pen tablet
- Comfort with US timings
Good-to-Have (Bonus)
- Experience teaching neurodivergent students (ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, sensory needs)
- Experience with IEP goals, school accommodations or early-intervention programs
- Orton-Gillingham / phonics training
- Montessori / Jolly Phonics / Early Years certifications
- Background in child psychology, ECCE or elementary education

PAY & HOURS
- 550 per hour onwards (based on grade, skill, and performance)
- Start with 20 hours/week, grow to more based on quality
- Monthly payouts via bank transfer
