Primary Manager:
As part of the newly constructed IS Client Administration and Controls infrastructure, the IS Process Analyst will assist in the administration of the end-to-end billing process for Institutional Services Clients. As a key partner to the team, you will ensure efficient and timely execution of the client billing process from fee schedule preparation, approval, and storage through to billing set up and generation of the first client invoice. This will include uploading client contracts to ECMS in alignment with the Customer Contract Compliance Policy, completing the Global Billing Intake Forms, and other ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
Partner with IS Client Admin Consultants in accomplishing daily tasks in a follow the sun model
Review fee schedule exception requests and prepare necessary documentation for FSERG approval
Source requirements for Billing Intake form and work with CS and GBO on billing set up
Liaise with business partners to ensure accuracy of billing results
Load new and amended contracts into ECMS within 30 days of execution.
Properly terminate or deactivate customer contracts in ECMS to maintain an accurate inventory of contracts for the bank.
General Skills:
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess problem solving and resolution skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong PC skills, specifically Excel skills (Intermediate).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal deadlines.
Ability to work well in a fast paced, high-volume atmosphere.
Ability to interact with on-shore and off-shore teams to resolve inquiries and understanding when to escalate.
Specific Skills:
Comfortable using a variety of systems and applications all day
General familiarity with contracts and the underlying State Street products and services that they apply to.
Familiarity with contract-related terms that get negotiated such as price, governing law, legal entities in terms of clients and counterparties
Familiarity with parts of the contract like signature page, appendices, schedules and amendments
Ability to deconstruct the contract in general terms
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking skills to effectively use a mix of art and science when reading contracts to identify data elements.
