Role Description
The E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will handle day-to-day tasks including managing marketplace operations, driving sales strategies, analysing performance metrics, negotiating with marketplace partners, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders. This role calls for a proactive professional to enhance the company's e-commerce footprint.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, Fashion Management, or related field
- MBA (Marketing / E-Commerce / Operations) – Preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant certifications in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or Marketplace Management will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience managing marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Messho, Ajio etc.)
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, GMV, and profitability
- Experience handling a Listing Team or cross-functional coordination
- Strong understanding of Marketplace algorithms
- Sponsored ads & campaign management
- Pricing strategy & competitor analysis
- Account health metrics (returns, cancellations, ratings, penalties)
