Role Overview

The Marketplace Content & Visual Merchandising Manager will own how every brand looks and feels on VYLA across social media planning, website banners, collections, and product storytelling.

This role ensures that:

  • Best sellers are always highlighted
  • New launches never get missed
  • The site feels fresh, premium, and intentional every single week

You are the bridge between brands, catalog, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Calendar (All Onboarded Brands)
  • Create and manage a monthly social media calendar covering:
  • Best sellers
  • Hot-selling SKUs
  • New collections & drops
  • Festive / occasion-led edits
  • Balance brand visibility so all onboarded brands get fair exposure
  • Align calendar with launches, stock availability, and campaigns
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for execution
2. Brand & Product Storytelling
  • Decide what product goes live where and when
  • Highlight:
  • Best sellers
  • Hero products
  • New arrivals
  • Limited stock pieces
  • Write clear content briefs for posts, banners, and collections
  • Ensure storytelling matches VYLA's premium tone
3. Website Banners & Visual Flow
  • Own all site visuals, including:
  • Homepage banners
  • Category banners
  • Occasion & campaign banners
  • Ensure the site never looks outdated
  • Coordinate with designers using brand lookbooks and assets
  • Maintain consistency in:
  • Fonts
  • Layout hierarchy
  • Visual rhythm
4. Brand Coordination & Asset Management
  • Collect and manage:
  • Brand lookbooks
  • Campaign creatives
  • Product highlights
  • Launch calendars
  • Keep a central repository of brand assets
  • Follow up with brands to ensure timely content sharing
5. Marketplace Curation & Experience
  • Curate:
  • New In
  • Best Sellers
  • Trending Now
  • Occasion edits
  • Work closely with catalog ops to ensure correct tagging
  • Continuously improve on-site discovery and browsing experience
6. Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Track engagement on:
  • Social posts
  • Banner CTRs
  • Product visibility vs sales
  • Identify which storytelling formats perform best
  • Optimize content calendar accordingly

What We're Looking ForMust-Have
  • Strong fashion sensibility and visual eye
  • Experience in content planning or visual merchandising
  • Ability to juggle multiple brands at once
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable coordinating with designers & brands
Good to Have
  • Experience in marketplaces or multi-brand platforms
  • Understanding of user experience (UX)
  • Basic understanding of sales & conversion metrics
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Sheets, Figma, Canva
