Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented E-commerce Marketplace Account Manager to oversee and optimize our presence across major online marketplaces. The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, hands-on experience with marketplace operations, and a proven track record of improving sales performance, product visibility, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Account Management

  • Manage end-to-end operations for marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart.
  • Maintain and improve account health metrics including order defect rate, late shipment rate, and policy compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and marketplace account managers for issue resolution.

2. Product Listing & Catalogue Optimization

  • Create, update, and optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, keywords, attributes, images).
  • Perform keyword research and optimize SEO for better product visibility.
  • Ensure correct mapping, pricing, category placement, and catalog hygiene.

3. Inventory & Order Management

  • Monitor inventory levels, forecasting stock requirements, and coordinating replenishments.
  • Oversee order processing, dispatch, and returns to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reduce cancellations and RTO percentages through proactive measures.

4. Pricing, Promotions & Campaigns

  • Implement competitive pricing strategies and manage promotional campaigns.
  • Plan and execute deals, coupons, sponsored ads, and seasonal sales events.
  • Track ROI on advertising and promotional spends.

5. Sales Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales trends, competitor performance, and buyer behavior.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute strategies to increase revenue.

6. Customer Service & Feedback Management

  • Address customer queries, negative reviews, and seller feedback gracefully.
  • Improve product ratings and overall customer experience.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery and return resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience managing marketplace accounts (Amazon and Flipkart).
  • Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, SEO, PPC, and ad optimization.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Google Sheets, and marketplace seller dashboards.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
