Key Account Manager - E-commerce

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace & Quick Commerce Account Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and others.
  • Ensure optimal product visibility, content accuracy, and pricing across all marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with category and platform account managers to enhance brand positioning and performance.

Sales & Performance Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Track key metrics like GMV, conversion rates, sell-through, and inventory turnover to ensure consistent growth.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and demand planning teams to maintain stock levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure timely listing, cataloging, and content updates across all platforms.
  • Oversee order fulfillment, returns, and escalations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends to identify growth opportunities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze platform-wise sales performance, return rates, and customer feedback.
  • Generate insights from data to drive marketing, pricing, and inventory decisions.
  • Share periodic performance reports and growth plans with senior management.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Work closely with the marketing team for campaign planning, influencer partnerships, and seasonal offers.
  • Manage major sale events and category-based campaigns.
  • Utilize platform marketing tools for visibility and traffic growth.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, or MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Sales, Marketing/E-commerce Management preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in E-Commerce account management, preferably in electronics categories.
  • Core Skills:
    • Strong understanding of online marketplaces and digital sales strategies.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage tasks effectively and collaborate across teams.
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience in marketplace dashboards.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while seeking guidance when necessary.
    • Adaptable to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance work environment.
